Move List Data Between List Columns

 

It is a very common scenario that a list owner want to transform the list column data into a new format, or change the column data type, or consolidate two different columns into one. To meet this requirement, a data migration tool is developed to achieve this.

 

1. A list owner want to create a new column for Account #.

 

 

 

2. Use the tool to move the data from column "Account Name" to "Account #" which is type of number.
